Altaf worried over measles outbreak

KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has expressed deep concern on the outbreak of measles in some cities of Sindh. He expressed grief and sorrow on the deaths of several children due to measles. He appealed to Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and the Sindh government to take urgent steps for controlling the spread of measles and for providing health facilities to the affected children. He directed Minister for Health Dr Sagheer Ahmed to visit the affected areas and utilise all government resources for bringing cure to the children suffering from the infectious disease. He said that no negligence should be tolerated in this regard.
