Sana patronises land grabbers, gambling dens, says Fakhr

LAHORE - Dr Fakhr-ud-Din, information secretary PPP Punjab, alleged Rana Sana Ullah for patronizing the land grabbers and gambling dens runners and claimed that the provincial minister got commission of 10 thousand dollars in bogus development schemes. He made these allegations and claims while addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Saturday. Dr Fakhr claimed that the commission of 10 thousand dollars was added in bank account of Rana Sana Ullah in National Bank, Allama Iqbal Town branch in June in account no was 517396. He alleged that the provincial law minister got four million rupees from the national kitty for the construction of four feet road in his constituency. The PPP leader further alleged that a case was registered against Rana Sana in Anti-Corruption but he managed clearance from the case by using his influence and made scapegoat to tehsil municipal officer, Iqbal Town and other contactors in the said case. Dr Fakhr claimed that an inquiry no 27/R/ssp.opc against Rana Sana and his brother for grabbing public land and the property of Mian Idrees was lying in the CCPO Office but no action had been taken on the inquiry so far. He demanded of the Chief Minister Punjab to remove Rana Sana from his portfolio till the conclusion of the report in the said inquiry. He warned the provincial law minister to stop levelling baseless charges against the top leadership of the PPP, otherwise leaders of PPP would give a befitting answer to Rana Sana.
