Sharing grief over Nizami’s demise

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif went to the residence of The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami on Eid day to condole the death of legend journalist.  He prayed for the departed soul. Shahbaz also paid tribute to Nizami, saying that he (Nizami) had the courage to speak the truth and his services would be remembered.
 Jamali condoles death
Former prime minister and PML leader Mir Zafarullah Jamali has termed The Nation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami’s death a national loss. He expressed these views while talking to Nawa-i-Waqt Group Chairperson Rameeza Majid Nizami on phone Thursday. Jamali regretted that he could not attend the funeral of Dr Majid Nizami due to his illness.
Separately, College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan and Society of Surgeons of Pakistan also grieved over the sad demise of Dr Majid Nizami. Regional Director CPSP Prof Khalid Masood Gondal prayed for the departed soul.
 and said that may Almighty Allah grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
