Punjab Govt decides to launch operation against terrorists in Punjab

Punjab Government decided to launch operation against terrorists in different areas of provincial capital and in South Punjab in accordance with the information obtained from the detainee terrorists of Ahmadis worship places. The decision to this effect was made in a High-level meeting held here on Thursday that was chaired by Chief Minister Punjab regarding security situation in the province and was also attended by Home Secretary Punjab and IG Punjab Police. The meeting briefed the CM Punjab regarding security situation in the country and about investigative reports about the detainee terrorists of model town's terrorists' attack. The meeting decided to initiate operation against terrorists in the provincial capital and in South Punjab that would be jointly participated by police and secret agencies. Punjab government has decided to launch operation against terrorists in accordance of information from the detainee terrorists that were held during terrorists' attacks at Ahmadis Worship places in Model Town and Ghari Shahu. The meeting also exchanged in details problems related to poor coordination between police and intelligence agencies related to terrorists activities in the province and police claimed that secret agencies used to provide insufficient information on which police wasn't able to take any sort of action. Chief Minister Punjab also urged on police to amend itself as people are complaining constantly about brutal and intolerant attitude from police personnel towards citizens. CM also emphasized that Punjab police was not fulfilling expectations as pinned with it despite increase in their salaries hundred percent.
