LAHORE - As many as two persons including a woman died when a train hit them while they were crossing the railway lines in Nasir Abad and Race Course police limits on Saturday. Reportedly, a woman later identified as Samina Bibi of Basti Seyden Shah was returning to her home after dropping her two children at their school when she fell victim to the train accident. Quoting eyewitnesses police said Samina was crossing the railway lines while attending a cell phone call when the train hit her. She sustained critical head injuries and died at the spot. Police said her body has been handed over to the heirs without autopsy. In another incident, Nasir Abad police said a 22-year-old youth Irfan Ali was crossing the railway lines when a train crushed him to death. Irfan, a resident of Chungi Amer Sidhu was an employee in a local shop. Police handed over his body to the family without autopsy.
