NAB officials have arrested former MPA Suhail Zia Butt who was allegedly involved in embezzlement of millions of rupees and shifted him to Chamba House Lahore on Wednesday. Relatives of Suhail Zia Butt protested his arrest and a large number of League members reached Chamba House. According to NAB officials, Suhail Zia Butt had taken loan from National Cooperative and didnt return. Reference was sent to NAB in 2001 after Suhail Zia failed to return the loan. Suhail was declared proclaimed offender by the court as he didnt appear in the court, NAB added. Rana Sanaullah said NAB officials did not take into confidence before Suhails arrest. He said that he will contact the central government once the facts come to known.
