Inefficient rulers’ days numbered: Shahbaz

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the participation of the masses in a large number in the historic public meeting of Gujranwala has given the decision against the inefficient, nepotist and corrupt rulers. People of Pakistan are in a one voice with Pakistan Muslim League-N against the present corrupt government and are awaiting the signal from Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that the people through the biggest public meeting in the history of Gujranwala have shattered the dreams of those desirous of getting into power through back door. He said that President Pakistan Muslim League-N Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has made the defense of Pakistan an invincible and put the country on the road to progress and he will turn the country into the real Pakistan as envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal again by steering it out of crises.
He was talking to Members National and Provincial Assemblies and office bearers of Muslim League belonging to various districts here on Sunday. Leader of the opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Au Khan and Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa were also present on this occasion.
 Talking to the public representatives, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is passing through a very difficult situation of the history and the wrong policies of the government have ruined the national institutions. He said that the rulers are not interested in the resolution of the problems of the masses. He said that the plundering of resources is the sole objective of the rulers and they have made the country a bagger. Every coming day is bringing in astounding price-hike and the people have cried out at the hands of price-hike. The Chief Minister said that the worst load-shedding of gas has halted the wheel of industry and the labourers working in industrial institutions have come to streets against unemployment. He said that worst load-shedding of gas and electricity has made the life of the people miserable. He said that the days of inefficient rulers have been numbered and time of trial of the people is going to an end. He said that Punjab government is pursuing comprehensive programme of public welfare projects. Good governance and merit have been promoted in the province and transparent utilization of every penny of the public money is being ensured, he added. He said that the development projects are the living proof of this fact. He stressed upon elected representatives to ensure timely and transparent completion of development projects in their respective districts so that their fruits could reach to the masses at the earliest.
