GHOTKI - At least five persons drowned when a jeep plunged into canal near Ghotki on Wednesday.
According to police sources, a jeep heading towards Jahanpur from Ghotki met with an accident due to over speeding and fell into Qazi Wah Canal. As a result, six persons drowned in the canal. Rescue teams recovered five bodies while the remaining sixth man was rescued and shifted to hospital for treatment.
