LAHORE: FIA immigration authorities on Saturday intercepted suspicious and blacklisted passengers trying to travel abroad on fake documents and sent them Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) for further action, said an officer of FIA.
He said that Tabeer Tariq resident of Faisalabad was trying to travel for South Africa on emirates Airlines flight Ek- 625. Immigration officer during immigration process found visa sticker of South Afirca as fake. The passenger was arrested. Similarly Usman Shoukat resident of Gujrat was intercepted at a flight EY-241 due to forged British passport; he was also arrested and sent to AHTC. Some blacklisted passengers trying to travel abroad were also successfully intercepted by FIa immigration.
