Provincial Minister for Law Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that 2014 is the year of completion of promises made by the PML-N during elections.
He expressed these views while addressing party workers of PP-149 Saturday. He said that restoration of lost image of the country, national economy and elimination of unemployment and price-hike are real challenges of Pakistan.
“The world is expressing confidence in PML-N government for overcoming these challenges but some mischievous elements are creating hindrance in the process of development projects started by the PML-N,” he added.
Rana Mashhood said that the nation wants complete elimination of terrorists and is ready to help one million displaced families for accomplishing this mission but Imran Khan, on the behest of foreign forces, is sabotaging operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He said that on the occasion of Independence Day, Imran Khan is conveying a message to the world that Pakistani nation is a divided one. Imran Khan favours to hold talks with those Taliban who martyred thousands of innocent Pakistanis and released video films of playing football with the heads of martyrs of Pak Army, he added. He asked Imran Khan whether he represents Pakistan or terrorists.
Rana Mashhood said that Imran Khan and his colleagues could not topple the federal and Punjab governments but if PML-N decided, KPK government could be dislodged within 24 hours. He said that PML-N provided an opportunity to PTI to form government in KPK and their performance so that comparison could be made on the basis of performance after five years but Imran Khan never displayed sportsman spirit. He warned that if Imran Khan did not refrain from taking along one million people to Islamabad on August 14, then PML-N will go to Peshawar with 2 million people on August 18 and rid the people of KPK of PTI.
“If any one tries to make August 14 controversial, it is understandable but Pakistani people will not allow Imran Khan to destroy peace in the country. Later, commenting on Chaudhry Brothers statement of giving good news, Rana Mashhood said that the leaders of “Tonga” party had no role in country’s politics. He said that Chaudhry Brothers visited “Container Baba” repeatedly for the lust of power.
