LAHORE - Commissioner Lahore Khusro Pervaiz is going to ban pillion riding on 9th and 10th of Muharram with foolproof security and checking from 1st to 10th Muharram. In his massage, he appealed the public to cooperate with the police and administration in this regard. People should not be reluctant in provision of complete personal information with personal identity cards as well as body search in order to avoid any mishap or to curb terrorist activities. Meanwhile, Commissioner Lahore division Khusro Pervaiz has said that security arrangements will continue even after the 10th Muharram due to the threat of terrorist attacks on all the religious places and congregations. Addressing the participants of Ittehad Bainul Muslimeen Conference held at Badshahi Mosque on Friday, he said that objectives of terrorists would be curbed with the cooperation of Ulema. He appreciated the Ulema of different sects on offering prayer behind one Imam and on showing unity which ultimately would produce fruitful results. He said that such conference conveyed massage to the terrorists that Ulema of all sects are united against them. Besides Commissioner Lahore Khusro Pervaiz, Secretary Auqaf Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Allama Zabair Ahmad Zaheer, Mufti Mubashir Ahmad Nizami, Allama Mushtaq Hussain Jafri, Allama Mumtaz Awan, Ali Ghazanfar, Haidar Ali Mirza, Naeem Badshah, Maulana Javed Akbar Saqi, Mufti Sayed Ashiq Hussain, Maulana Hussain Ahmad Awan, Mufti Maqbool Rehman Ansari, Mufti Saifullah Khalid, Maulana Mujeebur Rehman Inqlabi, Sahibzada Sayed Abdul Baseer Azad, Sardar Muhammad Khan Laghari and other Ulema participated in the conference.
