DCO starts magistrates’ monitoring

LAHORE - District Coordination Officer Muhammad Usman has started the monitoring of 85 price control magistrates to make the price control system effective in the city and to take steps to stop overcharging on edible items.
The DCO paid surprise visits to Samanabad Town and Mozang bazaar and checked the rate lists and also for checking whether essential commodities are being sold on the fixed and notified rates or not.
The DCO stated that the district administration would pay surprise checking of all price control magistrates, working in different parts of the city.
He also ordered all price control magistrates to visit and check different markets by themselves instead of sending their subordinates for checking of price control.
