Lahore- Asif Shaheed Foundation, a welfare organisation serving the ailing humanity, has set up a mini hospital at Sheikhupura Road, which will provide free-of-cost treatment to the people of backward localities.
As free dispensaries established by the foundation are already working in the area, the ‘Friends Welfare Medical and Gyne Centre’ was inaugurated on Monday by senior journalist Syed Sajjad Bokhari while PTI leader Rana Anwarul Haq was the chief guest. The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of residents of the locality.
The chairman of the foundation Amir Qadeer Advocate expressed his resolve to set up more health units in the backward areas. In addition to this, Asif Shaheed Foundation had already laid the foundation of Friends School System Campus 2 at Badholi stop Sunhair House. The objective of this campus is to provide education to the poor students. The Campus will start working in 2014.
