LAHORE - A 45-year-old District Officer Road was strangulated by unknown accused in Defence-A police limits late on Monday night. The deceased identified as DOR Naseem Ahmad was the resident of DHA AA-Block. As per details, the driver of the deceased went to drop his boss at his office at 8:00am but both could not reached there. The family approached his office and inquired about Naseem when he could not return to his home in time. Police concerned maintained that someone phoned them about 1:00am on Tuesday and informed about a dead body lying in Drainage near Rohi Kamahan Village. On duty police officer namely Khalid said later the deceased was identified as Naseem Ahmad. According to police the driver of the deceased DOR and his Corolla Car (LOR-7636) both were absent since the happening of the untoward incident. Khalid said police have registered an FIR against unknown accused on the statement of Farah Bibi, spouse of the deceased.
