Q warns Army bashers of public wrath

LAHORE - PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi warned that the elements involved in defaming the guardians of national frontiers would face public wrath if they didn’t abandon their propaganda.
He expressed these views while reading a message at the PML-Q’s rallies taken out to express solidarity with Pak Army, in 12 districts of Punjab including the provincial capital on Sunday. He said that damaging the reputation of Pak Army means putting at stake the country’s security and sovereignty. He said that the PML-Q rallies amounted to fully support Pak Army on one hand and on the other to warn those who are involved in malicious campaign against the security forces. He alleged that the ruling party since after coming into power was busy hatching conspiracies to damage the reputation of Pak Army.
Elahi alleged that the government first made efforts to prove a former army chief as a traitor and now it has launched a campaign to get a declaration against the ISI chief as a murderer. He claimed that it was beyond a shadow of doubt that the government members themselves were behind the malicious campaign against Pak Army within the country and abroad, as they regard Pak Army as the biggest obstruction while pursuing their personal agenda. The PML-Q leader alleged that the ruling party was known for its adventurism against the state institutions; however the entire nation was standing with Pak Army and would not allow further conspiracies against their soldiers.
Meanwhile, the PML-Q City chapter leadership along with party workers taken out the Pak Army solidarity rally, which started from Muslim League House and culminated at the Press Club, while similar rallies were taken out in 11 other districts of the province. Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Seemal Kamran and Mian Munir led the rally. The rally participants chanted slogans in favour of Pak Army and lashed out at the elements running malicious campaign.
