LAHORE - A man shot dead his sister over a domestic dispute in Factory Area on Wednesday.
The family told the police that Dilawar, alias Bhola, shot dead Parvin Bibi during their scuffle over a domestic dispute. The police have moved the body to morgue for autopsy and are investigating.
Separately, dacoits gunned down a 35-year-old cashier of a private company in Iqbal Town. Police sources said that resident of (Nizam Block) Iqbal Town, Muhammad Kashif, along with his friend Imtiaz was on his way to deposit cash when two gunmen intercepted their motorcycle in the Rachna block. The gunmen demanded the motorcyclists to hand over the cash to them but Kashif tried to put up resistance against the road robbery. As Kashif tried to raise an alarm, the bandits opened straight fire at him from a close range, resulting in his on-the-spot death. The bandits collected cash bag and fled away.
The police reached the spot and removed the body to the morgue for autopsy. Further investigation is underway.
