LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that by describing the PML-N as 'Sabreen Group, Governor Punjab Salman Taseer has in fact ridiculed a Quranic verse. He asked the Governor to read verse 153 of Sura-tul-Baqra in which Allah Almighty has declared that Indeed He is with those who show patience as they are on the right path. In a Press statement here Tuesday, Sanaullah said that the Governor quoted the verse of the Holy Quran only to give airs to himself, but he should well remember that Allah Almighty does not like those who are arrogant or boastful and has cursed them on behalf of Him, His angels and all human beings in verse 166 of Sura Al-Baqra. He said that all patriotic people who supported PML-N would continue to show patience. He advised the Governor to repent, pray to Allah and mend his ways for saving himself from the curse of Allah Almighty, His angels and all human beings. He further said that no one had been hatching conspiracies against President Zardari neither armed forces nor judiciary wanted to remove him from his office. He said that it was only the corrupt colleagues of Zardari and his foolish friends who were conspiring against him and their wrong doings could bring about his downfall. In another Press release the Minister said that by participating in a dance party on the birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhuttoo Shaheed, the Governor had insulted the political legacy of martyrdom of Bhutto family as well as ridiculed the martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto. He said that as the representative of federation the office of the Governor had its own constitutional sanctity and such negative activities at this place tantamount to an insult to nine crore people of the province. He further said that he should apologise to the nation and immediately resign from his office for his indecent behaviour. 19 doctors removal stayed Justice Mian Saqib Nisar of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday stayed removal from service of 19 doctors by suspending orders of the secretary Health and Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
