LAHORE: Acting Governor Punjab Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Saturday said that the government was taking steps for the betterment of general public except for some who were playing the blame game.
Talking to the newsmen after inaugurating two days third Healthcare Expo organised by Cheery organisation at Expo Centre, he said that there was a need of improving healthcare facilities with the help of private sector. Dr Rashid Latif, patron in chief Expo, Dr Haroon Latif, Chief Organiser Expo, Wajahat Bukhari, Coordinator, Dr Salman Shahid and Syed Zulfiqar Husain were also present at the Expo. Different departments, healthcare related organisations and pharmaceutical companies participated in the event.–Staff Reporter
Dr Haroon Latif said that the purpose of this Expo was to highlight the importance of healthcare issues, gather all stakeholders on one platform to build their business-relations. He further said that healthcare has now become a big industry and thousands of people were involved in this sector. This Expo will provide an opportunity to the stakeholders to evolve a joint strategy to boost their businesses and help improve standard of health of general public.
