Rs1105m allocated for literacy

LAHORE - As many as Rs1,105 million have been allocated for the ongoing and new development schemes of Literacy in Punjab in the current financial year for Literacy & NFBE Department.
To review the progress of ongoing new and other projects, a meeting was presided by Dr Pervez Ahmed Khan, Secretary Literacy & NFBE Department. Additional Secretary Nadeem Alam Butt, Project Directors and concerned officers also participated in the meeting.  It was told that for the education of the laborer's children's at brick kilns. A scheme was devised amounting Rs 1 billion approximately in which funds of more than 31 million were released for the current year.
