LAHORE - An Additional District and Sessions Judge Mehar Muhammad Yousaf on Friday ordered the DSP concerned to produce SHO Police Station Township before the court, in connection with a petition filed against him of contempt of court by one Amir. The complainant took plea in his petition that the SHO had not registered an FIR against the abductors in violations of the court orders, as abductors had allegedly kidnapped his brother Umar Bilal along with his car when he (Amir) and his brother were on their way to home after dropping their nephew at his school some months back. He informed the court that abductors had also demanded ransom money of Rs 5 million for Bilals release. He said the SHO had so far not registered the case in this regard against the abductors and disobeyed the court orders also. On Friday AD&SJ directed DSP Circle to produce concerned SHO before the court on May 10.
