LAHORE: Masaail Committee Chairman Nazim Shaukat has appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to cut down the timing of stage drama shows to avoid late night mess in Lahore.
In a press statement, he said that the theatres’ administration should be asked to be punctual in showing stage dramas. He suggested that the stage shows should be started at 07:00pm in the theatres and must be concluded before 11:00pm for the convenience of the public. At present, he complained, the stage dramas are being staged from 11:00pm to 02:00am. He further said that the management of Mehfil Theatre should be asked to follow the rules in this regard.–Staff Reporter
