798 ticketless passengers charged


lahore  - Pakistan Railways Police have claimed to detect 798 tickets-less passengers in a week. The passengers who were traveling without tickets in different railways divisions were charged about 0.4 million, said PRP spokesman on Wednesday. About five special teams have been constituted to act against the ticket theft and ticket-less traveling on the direction of the PRP IG Syed Ibne Hussain.  According to the details, 161 passengers were charged Rs113,415 in Karachi division, 292 passengers were charged Rs91,151 in Lahore division, 147 passengers were charged Rs98,700 in Multan division, 151 passengers were charged Rs67,530 in Rawalpindi division while 47 passengers were charged Rs12,280 in Sukkar division of Pakistan Railways.  The PRP stated that the trend of ticket-less travelling was decreasing day by day through the campaign.
