Coldwave tightens its grip over City


LAHORE – Like other parts of the country, the City remained in the grip of cold wave on Sunday with experts predicting the prevailing conditions to persist during the next couple of days.
Snowfall over the hills and windy conditions helped maintaining the temperature to a lower level, maintaining chill in weather during daytime and at night.  On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 16 degree Celsius and 2.5 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 83 per cent which decreased to 42 per cent in the evening.
According to the experts, a westerly wave persists over upper parts of the country.
