PWF all set to launch drive against price hike


LAHORE  – The working class of country would launch countrywide movement under the banner of Pakistan Workers Confederation against sky rocketing price hike of essential commodities and unemployment of million of workers on account of closure of thousands of industrial units due to gas and electricity loadshedding.
This decision was taken in a meeting held at Bakhtiar Labour Hall on Sunday which was participated by the representatives of the confederation namely All Pakistan Trade Unions Federation, Muttahida Labour Federation, Pakistan Workers Federation, National Trade Unions Federation, Watan Dost Mazdoor Federation, Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union (CBA), National Bank Trade Union Federation, and PWD Workers Union CBA.
While speaking on the occasion, General Secretary Pakistan Workers Confederation Khurshid Ahmad stressed the need of uniting all patriotic forces to join hands with the working class to bring the nation out of economic and social crises.
The meeting was also addressed by President PWC Osama Tariq, GuI Rehman (Peshawar) Altaf Baloch, Yousaf Baloch, Nasir Mahmood (Karachi) Nisar Ahmad, Rubina Jamil, Salah Uddin Ayub, Nasir Gulzar, Ch Khushi Muhamamd Khokhar, Akbar Ali Khan, Syed Hamid Ahmad (Karachi) and others.
