Forgery case lodged against schoolteacher

LAHORE - Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab has registered a case against a school teacher allegedly involved in taking bribe from sanitary workers of TMA Gujjar Khan on the pretext of providing age relaxation orders from the government, spokesman of ACE said here on Saturday. As per details, Muhammad Irshad, school teacher of Government Middle School Jhand Nagar, Gujjar Khan, took Rs 30,000 from 13 work charge sanitary workers on the pretext of getting age relaxation orders from the government and provided them fake documents prepared in connivance with Nadeem Butt, a clerk of TMA (Tehsil Municipal Administration) Gujjar Khan. Director Anti-Corruption Rawalpindi division, on a complaint, conducted an inquiry in which all the allegations levelled against Muhammad Irshad proved true. Circle Officer ACE Rawalpindi has registered a case against Irshad and started investigation.
