LAHORE – Independent MNA from Jhang, Saima Akhtar Bharwana, called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday and announced joining the PML-N.
Expressing full confidence in the leadership of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, Saima said the country was on the road to progress during the era of Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N would win the upcoming general elections with a thumping majority.  She said only the PML-N had potential and capability to steer the country out of crisis. She said the measures taken by Shahbaz Sharif for the development of the province and welfare of the masses were unprecedented.
“People have shown full confidence in the policies of merit, good governance and transparency of Shahbaz Sharif in the bye-elections,” she added.  The chief minister welcomed Saima in the party and said the PML-N would be further strengthened by her joining the party.
