LAHORE – Additional District and Sessions Judge Ittefaq Abbasi on Wednesday convicted two drug-traffickers involved in different narcotics cases.
The court awarded 18-month imprisonment to convict Talib Shah after he was proved guilty of possessing two kilograms of hashish. The court also imposed a fine of Rs25,000 on the convict. In case of non-payment of the fine, the criminal will further undergo three-month jail.
According to details, Manga Mandi Police had arrested Talib Shah and recovered two kilograms of hashish from his possession.
Meanwhile, the same court awarded four-month imprisonment to another drug pusher named Zaheer, besides imposing a fine of Rs1,000 on the convict. According to details, Tibbi City police had arrested Zaheer and seized 200 grams of hashish from his possession. In case of non-payment of the fine, the criminal will further undergo 15-day jail.
