The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khosa has termed the provincial government as illegal and unconstitutional.
Talking to media persons in Lahore on Saturday, he said all affairs of the provincial government led by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif were illegal and unconstitutional.
But he did not put light on what basis he was terming the provincial government illegal and unconstitutional.
“President Asif Ali Zardari has rightly said that the PPP has donated this government to Shahbaz,” he said.
“Our government wants to strengthen democratic norms in the country,” Khosa noted while responding to allegations leveled by PML-N leaders against PPP leaders and President Zardari. Accepting the reality of American and NATO forces strength, Khosa said that giving free hand to any other country in Afghanistan is against our national interest. The PML-N has announced to hold a march towards Islamabad against unprecedented power outages across the province.
