LAHORE: An employee of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) was shot dead by two motorcyclists in the Johar Town area, police said on Monday.
Father of four children, Mazhar Butt, had just left his office when two motorcyclists intercepted him near the LDA center in the Johar Town police precincts. They shot dead Mazhar Butt, said to be a junior clerk, and fled away. The police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the morgue for autopsy.
Police investigators say they believe the deceased had monetary disputes with some groups in the real estate business. Further investigation was underway.–Staff Reporter
