LAHORE - Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq greeted Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his victory in the presidential elections.
In a congratulatory message to Tayyip Erdogan, he said the news of his grand victory in the first direct presidential elections of his country had been heard with great pleasure in the entire Muslim world. “The Turkish people as well as the whole Muslim Ummah are pinning hope that Turkey would now be playing an effective role in the world politics.”
He greeted the Turkish President-elect on behalf of the JI workers and leaders. He expressed hope that under Erdogan’s leadership, Turkey will pay great attention to the solution of the Ummah’s problems.
