Bukhari nomination as NAB chairman challenged in LHC

Nomination of Admiral (R) Faseeh Bukhari as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman has been challenged in Lahore High Cort (LHC) on Thursday. According to media reports, Barrister Javed Iqbal filed application in the court in which he mentioned that Faseeh Bukhari did not fulfill requirements for the slot. The applicant also mentioned that former naval chief also leveled in corruption allegations therefore he could not lead the anti-corruption institute. President Asif Ali Zardari last week named Faseeh Bukhari as the chairman of NAB and this post was vacant since many months.
