Baloch condemns US embassy expansion plan

LAHORE - Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch has said that the US growing interference in Pakistan was a serious threat to the country 's independence, solidarity and integrity. The deployment of marines under the cover of embassy expansion besides the reports about PC Hotel Peshawar purchase and the induction of retired Pakistani secret service officials in the blackwater organisation were direct threat to the countrys existence, he said while addressing an Iftar party organised by JIs sister body Shabab-e-Milli. Baloch said the government contradiction about the existence of the blackwater was immaterial and an attempt to deny hard facts. He said the entire world has come to know that the 9/11 drama had been staged by the US itself and the CIA and Pentagon had a hand in the demolition of the World Trade Centre. The real US design was to target Pakistan and take over its nuclear assets, as the activities of the US embassy, the construction of a US Consulate in Karachi and the US activities in Peshawar clearly show the US game. He said the Pakistani rulers have sold out the nations honour for a few dollars whereas the masses hated the US. He said the JIs Go America Go campaign was aimed at liberating the country from the US slavery so the nation should join this campaign. He further said that the PPP and the PML-N were not sincere in Pervez Musharrafs trial and both of them were only befooling the people.
