LAHORE - Shab-e-Barat, the night of reverence and fervour, was observed across the country with great religious zeal.
With the sun setting people started gathering at mosques to offer special prayers for peace, progress and prosperity of the country, besides seeking forgiveness for their sins. Several gatherings and Mahafil-e-Naat were also organised. Houses, streets and mosques were decorated with colorful pennants and buntings.
