The Lahore High Court has sought an explanation from Punjab government over criminal action taken against those responsible for the deaths caused by measles.
During the course of proceedings on Monday, commission report was presented before the court.
The counsel for Punjab government apprised the court about the action being taken against the employees responsible for the casualties.
Justice Khalid Mahmood Khan questioned as to why criminal action is not being taken against the culprits especially when it is a matter of human lives.
Adjourning the hearing, the court summoned a report on October 23 over the criminal action being taken against the culprits by the Punjab government.
