Nawaz for resolving disputes between Pakistan and India

LAHORE - PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has emphasised the need for resolving all the outstanding issues including Kashmir between Pakistan and India in order to achieve sustainable peace and progress in the region. He expressed these views while talking to the Indian High Commissioner, Sharat Sabharwal who called on him on Tuesday. Matters of mutual interest, current situation in the region, terrorism and other issues of importance came under discussion during the meeting. Nawaz Sharif said the governments should take concrete steps to counter the acts of terrorism instead of accusation campaigns. He said Indian and Pakistani governments should resolve the issue of Kashmir if they wanted to change the fate of their people and to bring sustainable peace in the region. The Indian diplomat had briefed the PML-N chief about New Delhis point of view on various issues and stressed upon the need for cordial relations between India and Pakistan.
