LAHORE  - Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited troops in Sulemanki Sector on Saturday.
Addressing the troops, he said Pakistan Army has rendered supreme sacrifices for the defence and stability of the motherland. He appreciated the high morale and operational preparedness of troops and urged the need for continuous training to attain even higher professional standards.
Later, the Chief of Army Staff met war veterans and commended their services during various operations.
He said that role of both officers and men in defending the territorial frontiers is laudable and worth emulating.
The COAS paid rich tributes to the heroic deeds of valour and sacrifices of our Shuhada and Ghazis while defending the motherland.
Earlier on arrival at Sulemanki, the COAS was received by Corps commander Lieutenant General Naweed Zaman.
