LAHORE-Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab Secretary Information Aamer Raja on Monday said that Nawaz Sharif was inviting Martial Law in the country by conspiring against the democratic government. “Nawaz Sharif had been supporting dictators in the past and was active yet again to de-rail the democracy”, he said in a statement, adding that he (Nawaz) was demanding resignation from PM Gilani unmindful of the fact that Punjab government was intact only because of a stay order issued by the court. “People demanding the resignation of prime minister should not forget their own past which is marked by storming of the Supreme Court building and stories of inducing the judges to change their loyalties”, he observed. Raja further stated that participation of millions of peoples in the PPP rallies should be an eye opener for the opponents trying to destabilize the government. The information secretary alleged that majority of the members of PML-N were responsible for breaking and violating the law. “It is a fact that most of the legislators having fake degrees belonged to the PML-N”, he added.
