Punjab govt intact in national interest: Tanvir Kaira

Provincial Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira said on Wednesday that PPP was keeping the coalition government intact in the national interest. Speaking to media during an Eid-Milan party here on Wednesday, Kaira said that if any member of provincial assembly (MPA) from Q-league's forward block was included in Punjab Cabinet, then it would be difficult to keep the alliance with N-league. He, however, said that PPP wanted to continue the alliance with PML-N in Punjab, adding that mission of slain PPP's leader Benazir Bhutto would continue, while workers will be given their due rights. The minister added the government had started work to overcome price hike, unemployment and lawlessness in the province.
