LAHORE - Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) on Thursday held a condolence reference in remembrance of renowned literary figure Anis Nagi at Punjabi Complex, Gaddafi Stadium. The ceremony was presided over by renowned poet Shehzad Ahmed while Dr Saleem Akhtar and Dr Danyal Nagi were the chief guests on the occasion. A large number of writers and poets including Dr Altaf Qureshi, Muddasar Iqbal Butt, Dr Ajmal Niazi, Farhat Abbas Shah, Rukhsana Noor, Sofia Bedar, Ahmed Aqeel Robi, director PILAC Dr Sughra Sadaf and others highlighted the personality and work of Dr Anis Nagi. On the occasion, Director General PILAC Tariq Javed Afridi also announced to translate and publish the books of Dr Anis Nagi in Punjabi language.
