'Economic disparity led to Dhaka Fall

LAHORE The political, economic and social disparity among the Bangalis led to Dhaka Fall as even there was no word like separation in the 6-point demand agenda of Majid-ur-Rehman presented at that time. The political leaders fail to control the situation once the things turn ugly. All the four military dictators played havoc with the country. If former despot Pervez Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz are produced before the court of law in connection with the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti, it could help cool down the angry Baloch people. This was the upshot of speeches made here at a seminar held under the aegis of Nawa-i-Waqt, TheNation and Waqt News at Hameed Nizami Hall on Wednesday. PML-N leader and MNA Mian Marghoob and Abdul Rauf Khan Sarsooli Secretary General Jamhoori Watan Party were the prominent speakers besides others. Speaking on this occasion, Abdul Rauf Khan said that we should learn from the past mistakes and the civil society of Punjab province should come forward to plat its role to resolve the problems being faced by Balochistan. He said that though there was a great game of international players taking place in Balochistan but we should put out house in order first. He asserted that Nawab Akbar Bugti was neither against the military and nor the country and he just had difference of opinion with the former dictator Pervez Musharraf. He also appealed to all the political and religious parties to move in the right direction and always be aware of the designs of the enemies of Pakistan. He said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan. He said that ex-dictator Pervez Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz should be trialed in connection with the murder of Nawab Bugti. MNA Mian Marghoob termed December 16, the black day in the history of the country and said that every Pakistani weep on this day as we had lost one part of the country. He said that Pakistan came into being due to the untiring efforts of the great Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. But the after the death of Liaqat Ali Khan, the politicians, military and civil bureaucracy stared plundering national resources and made record corruption that led to disparity among the people of East Pakistan. He alleged that Pervez Musharraf is an American agent who had played havoc with the countrys national interests. He said that at present the situation is not different in the country from that of 1971 and it is because of the wrong policies of the former despot. He demanded the formation of a commission to punish all those who damaged the country.
