SCBA laments leaders quietude over Jalibs murder

LAHORE - Supreme Court Bar Association has termed the killing of Senator Habib Jalib Baloch a big conspiracy to pit the Pakistanis against each other and has also lamented the painful silence by our key national leaders to expose the hidden hands behind the incident. Secretary General SCBA Raja Zulqurnain told a press conference Thursday that all the federal and the provincial departments in the country know well who were behind the target killings in Karachi and Balochistan, and suicide attacks and bomb blasts but regrettably they and the leaders who describe themselves most popular wielding the major political parties are quite mum to name them. This is the most serious crime than what the anti-state elements are doing, he said, adding under well thought plans non-issues were being made serious issues and efforts were also on to pit the Muslims against each other on sectarian basis. He said the same agent at work during the dictatorship of Pervez Musharraf were busy today to divide the Pakistanis on various grounds including slogans for creation of more provinces, so that they do not reach out to the actual perpetrators and killers. Raja said it was evident that American CIA, Blackwater and Israeli Mosad had covertly attacked Pakistan, rather they have imposed a war on this nation, but our leaders were posing a complete silence to let the innocent Pakistanis die at their hand. He regretted no concrete action but simple statement that head of the suicide bomber had been recovered is made after every suicide blast as a matter of performance by the agencies against terror activities. Similarly security lapse is told as cause of blast so more security is required but no one questions the allocation of billions of rupees and supply of latest equipment to the law enforcement agencies for the security and that how security lapse came about despite all that. The bar secretary also called for a check on the free and unbridled movement of the Americans and the Americans agents as well as movement of the Nato trucks without any restriction and checking. Raja Zulqurnain said the country at present was passing through a critical juncture of history and he appealed to the leaders to forge unity and make sincere efforts to kick the foreign elements and foreign agents out of the country. He said the Pakistani leaders must also accept the fact that UNO is playing the role of partner of America and its satellites states as such it would never listen to Pakistan against interests of the former. He said if the country had to be saved, the government should at once announce to expel all the foreign agents, get rid of IMF and World Bank and commit to live on our resources so that the country could obtain economic self-sufficiency. The bar secretary also appealed to the bar associations all over the country to hold condemnation meetings against the killing of Habib Jalib Baloch and observe three days mourning on his murder.
