OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Iqbal Town Police Division claimed to have smashed a motorcycle lifter gang and arrested its three members, and recovered four motorcycles, six mobile phones besides illegal weapons from their possession. The arrested were identified as Saleem, Irfan and Rafiq while their three other accomplices including Yaseen Dogar, Abrar and Saleem managed to flee before the raiding police party arrest them. During preliminary interrogation, the accused had confessed to 48 criminal incidents in various places of the provincial capital. The SP Iqbal Town Police Division Muntazir Mehdi constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP/SDPO and other officials, who after making rigorous efforts managed to arrest the gangsters.
