LAHORE (Handout) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has paid a total tax of 60 lakh, 60 thousand and 880 rupees.
According to a spokesman, Shahbaz Sharif paid 36 lakh, 44 thousand and 403 rupees as income tax and 17 lakh, six thousand and 250 rupees as agriculture tax. The chief minister also paid farmhouse tax of seven lakh, ten thousand and 627 rupees and he is the only Member Provincial Assembly who had paid the farmhouse tax.
Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif went to the residence of Member National Assembly Afzal Khokhar and Member Provincial Assembly Saiful Malook and offered condolences to them over the death of their brother-in-law Malik Javaid Iqbal. He also offered fateha for the departed soul.
Shahbaz Sharif also strongly condemned the bomb blast on railway track near Kashmore and expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives. The chief minister also sympathised with the injured and prayed for their early recovery.
