Welfare work lauded

LAHORE - Imam Khumaini Trust (IKT) Chief Organizer Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi met with Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar at Governor House on Monday.
During the meeting welfare projects being run by the trust were discussed.  The governor appreciated IKT for its part in promoting religious harmony, saying that in the current situation it was call of hour to develop religious harmony among the different schools of thought.  The IKT has been striving for providing clean drinking water to the people of far-flung areas, arranging marriages of poor girls and establishing schools and colleges.
