LAHORE Commissioner Lahore Division Nadeem Hussan Asif has issued directions for the provision of complete meal package in Rs 15 to the deserving for one more month at about 72 Muhammadi Dastarkhawns of the City. He further directed the authorities concerned to ensure functionality of 8 mechanical tandoors till March 23 with completing scrutiny of 62 applications for the installation of mechanical tandoors within six days. He issued these directions in a meeting regarding installation of mechanical tandoors and Sasti Roti Muhammadi Dastarkhawns held here on Thursday. He ordered to establish special control room in the commissioner office within two days in order to redress the complaints of the tandoor owners and regarding sasti roti. He also ordered Chief Protocol Officer Sheikh Fareed Ahmad to conduct a survey of all the mechanical tandoors and dastarkhawns and issued NOCs to the those well of people who wanted to contribute money for this noble cause.
