Labaik Ya Rasool Allah rally held


LAHORE – The Tahaffuz Namoos-e-Risalat Mahaz (TNRM) held Labaik Ya Rasool Allah Rally on Wednesday to condemn and protest against the anti-Islam movie and blasphemous caricatures.
Carrying flags, placards and banners inscribed with writings against the US, India and Israel, hundreds of people from the Ahle Sunnah school of thought participated in the rally from Nasser Bagh to Faisal Chowk. The highly-charged participants chanted slogans against the US and the Taliban.
Addressing the participants, TNRM President Allama Raza-e-Mustafa Naqshbandi said that those who attacked Malala Yousafzai were enemies of Muslims and friends of the US. He said that Ahle Sunnah were opposed to the US Taliban. He said that the Muslims should unite and the Ummah should take a stand on the issue of honour of the Holy Prophet.
TNRM Secretary General Muhammad Ali Naqshbandi demanded hanging of Maulvi Fazal Ullah for carrying out attack on Malala Yousafzai. He said that the dream of durable peace in the world could not be materialised without adoption of the blasphemy law at the UN level. He also urged the government to take action against those demolishing shrines during expansion of roads in the City.
Jamia Naeemia Nazim-e-Ala Raghib Hussain Naeemi said that Jews and Christians would fail to protect the blasphemer for long. He said that Muslims would do justice with those involved in blasphemy of the Holy Prophet. He said that Ahle Sunnah people would continue to raise a voice against the Taliban.
Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman Sahibzada Fazal Karim said that Malala Yousafzai was a beautiful face of Islam and those involved in attack on her should be given exemplary punishment. He said that attack on Malala should be taken as aggression against Pakistan. He stressed taking immediate steps against the Taliban.
Karim said that Altaf Hussain should avoid issuing statements against Mumtaz Qadri just to please the US and the UK. He said that the Ahle Sunnah people were united and the SIC would contest the upcoming general elections on its own election symbol.
Sunni Tehreek Chief Sarwat Ijaz Qadri said that there was need for global legislation to stop blasphemy. He said that Jihad was necessary to put to an end to the tyranny of the US Taliban. Athar-ul-Qadri said that the Two Nation Theory was the real essence of Islam and Pakistan.
Ahmed Raza Sialvi said that the Ahle Sunnah people were ready to render any sacrifice for protecting the honour of the Prophet. Murtaza Hashmi, Bashir Nizami, Shafiq Gilani, Asghar Noorani, Haseeb Qadri, Karim Khan, Nawaz Kharal, Mufti Imran and Zia Naqshbandi also addressed.
