PTI submits anti-drone resolution in Punjab Assembly

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday submitted a resolution against US drone strikes in the Punjab Assembly.
The resolution was filed by Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, a Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) of the party.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) belonged MPA Rana Sanaullah strongly opposed the submission of the resolution against US drone attacks by PTI and termed it as useless.
The submitted resolution contents include killing of innocent people by the spy plane strikes and attacks were called as attack over independence and sovereignty against Pakistan.
While opposing PTI resolution, Rana Sanaullah said that the federal government already discussed the matter with United Nations (UN) chief Ban Ki-Moon during his visit to Pakistan while filing resolution again on the issue is not better move.
Earlier, PTI submitted resolution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly against drone strikes and termed as violation of human rights as well as against the country’s sovereignty.
