LAHORE - In view of the current political turmoil in Pakistan, the de facto Chairman of the PPP, Asif Ali Zardari has convened a meeting of party’s core committee in Dubai on Wednesday (today) to devise a strategy to respond to the emerging situation.
Senior PPP leaders including two former Prime Ministers, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf have been asked to reach Dubai on the first available flights.
Makhdoom Amin Fahim is already in Dubai.
Leader of the Opposition Syed Khurshid Shah, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Rehman Malik, Manzoor Wattoo and party’s provincial Presidents have also been invited to be part of the consultative meeting.
