LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif left for China on Monday. During his visit the chief minister will hold talks with Chinese authorities regarding progress on projects in energy, infrastructure, transport and other sectors.  Talking at the airport before his departure for China, the chief minister said that Pak-China friendship entered into a new phase.
He said that progress would be made on important projects during the visit.
 “Darkness will be removed from the country with the cooperation of China,” he added. He lauded China’s cooperation in energy, infrastructure and transport sectors.–Staff Reporter
