Islamabad, Ankara can cope challenges together

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Capital City Police Officer (CCPO), Ahmad Raza Tahir said on Wednesday that Pakistan and Turkey can benefit a lot from each others experiences and challenges in the field of policing. The CCPO stated this while giving detailed briefing to a 7-member delegation of Turkish National Police headed by its Director General Ahmet PEK at his office here on Wednesday. The other members of the delegation including Fatih Inalkac, Yavuz Ozdemir, Ertugru Senyigit, Engine Yilmaz, Remzi Guney and an Interpreter Mr Taner were also present on this occasion. In his briefing, CCPO claimed that City police was utilising modern technology to combat heinous crimes and terrorism in the city. On the occasion, the Director General Turkish National Police Ahmet PEK, assured CCPO Lahore Turkish Polices full cooperation and thanked him for his warm hospitality. CCPO also presented commemorative shields to the members of the Turkish National Police delegation. DIG Operations Ghulam Mehmood Dogar, DIG Investigations Ali Amir Malik and other senior police officers were also present on this occasion.
